  1. Love the post title!

    • Me too, and of course I wouldn’t have thought of it if not for your excellent Mavis Staples song selection to accompany your original post, JoAnn … hope that “I give you power, I can take it away” turns out to be one of those from-her-lips-to-God’s ear kind of thing.

      • After the 2018 Elections, we will feel encouraged (so many Progressives running – I’m creating a page, not done yet). In 2020, more so (at least with Congress, if not the Presidency). Over the pond, Jeremy Corbyn recently said it’s likely he’ll be the next UK Prime Minister. (!) God’s ear must be full. 🙂

      • So impressed by how deftly your manage your blog, JoAnne. Here’s hoping that peace-loving progressives like Corbyn take over worldwide sooner rather than later … this resource stealing, regime changing, refugee creating hell we’re in is pretty unbearable.

      • Here’s to 2018! Maybe the year of realized hope?

      • Yes, here’s (belatedly!) to 2018 being the year of realized hopes – including catching up on the rest of the 5,000+ emails and notifications I’m behind on.
