Darren Rainey

Please take the time to listen to Miami Herald reporter Julie Brown discuss the appalling conditions that she discovered at a Florida women’s prison from the link below. Ms. Brown is well known and respected for her articles concerning suspicious prison deaths, particularly the scalding death of mentally ill Darren Rainey at Dade Correctional Institution, which came to her attention through inmate Harold Hempstead (whom the Miami Herald dubbed the Caged Crusader). Thank you.
