Yes, there was another suspicious death at Dade CI

Unfortunately, the tip I wrote about on March 23rd was correct: 45-year-old Anthony Vidal’s March 11th death is now of record on the Florida Department of Corrections’ Inmate Mortality webpage for Dade Correctional Institution. That Vidal’s death is under investigation by the Miami-Dade Police Department and Florida Department of Law Enforcement means nothing, according to the pending and resolved investigations of inmate deaths. This is Rick Scott’s Florida, and Barack Obama’s America. And for so long as it is, inmates must rely more on Caged Crusader Harold Hempstead’s efforts to keep them safe than on any state or federal entity, even though failure to keep from harm remains a federal crime.
