If paying a living wage is impossible, capitalism doesn’t work

Fight For $15 Testimony – Marine Corps Veteran Derrell Odom

US Marine Corps veteran Derrell Odom testifies at Atlanta, GA wage board for $15 an hour and union rights.

It really is just that simple, folks.

To claim that paying a living wage is impossible is to claim that capitalism doesn’t work, that it is as fundamentally flawed as communism, offering absolutely nothing for any nation to build a future on.

But capitalism – when well regulated – does indeed work.

If we hadn’t elected a majority of “leaders” willing to deprive their constituents of basic necessities for the sake of corporate donations, that capitalism can work for everyone would be as self-evident now as it was fifty years ago.
