It really is just that simple, folks.
To claim that paying a living wage is impossible is to claim that capitalism doesn’t work, that it is as fundamentally flawed as communism, offering absolutely nothing for any nation to build a future on.
But capitalism – when well regulated – does indeed work.
If we hadn’t elected a majority of “leaders” willing to deprive their constituents of basic necessities for the sake of corporate donations, that capitalism can work for everyone would be as self-evident now as it was fifty years ago.
