Somewhere in America, there’s a brash and bright attorney chuckling over the likelihood that TPP will be passed by those elephants and donkeys who just can’t seem to kiss enough corporate ass.
He – or she – is ready to file a suit that fits its “potentially lost earnings” parameters … on behalf of every ordinary American, backed by some – perhaps most – of them. There are abundant figures available on what other free trade agreements have already done to America’s rank and file workers, extrapolating them isn’t rocket science.
So go ahead, y’all; be greedy and stupid again on behalf of 1% of the 1%. Pass TPP. The 99% likely won’t be able to derail Fast Track, but that doesn’t mean we aren’t going to hand you your cabooses.
