Jeb Bush Uses Terri Schiavo Case To Burnish His Religious Right Credentials | Crooks and Liars
In an interview with the powerful Religious Right group Focus on the Family today, Jeb Bush touted his anti-choice credentials and boasted of his role in the controversial Terri Schiavo case when he was governor of Florida.
I was apparently born with light sensitive epilepsy that causes grand mal seizures, with blunt trauma adding additional forms of seizures, including those where I simply stare into space, appearing to be conscious, but anything but. It’s how I earned the (temporary) nickname “Crash,” and terrified some passengers while driving.
My brain damage was of no consequence to then-Florida Governor Jeb Bush … at the very same time that he pretended such deep interest in Terri Schiavo.
This can be confirmed by formally requesting records of all electronic correspondence from me to Jeb, including faxes.
Any journalist that’s up for showing the world just what Jeb’s “family values” are can let me know via comment (which I won’t publish without permission), and I’ll furnish – via email – the other name the request should include.
My correspondence concerned my personal difficulty with some of the same players involved in Brevard County’s notorious frame-ups, and requested help for the framed, not just me.
Jeb’s jumping in when asked would have freed all of Brevard’s framed innocents, not just two more of them – Wilton Dedge and William Dillon – and even forced the Innocence Project to be more innocent, along with police, public defenders, prosecutors and judges.
