AP-GfK Poll: Most back Obama plan to raise investment taxes
WASHINGTON (AP) — The rich aren’t taxed enough and the middle class is taxed too much. As for your taxes, you probably think they’re too high as well.
Those are the results of an Associated Press-GfK poll that found that most people in the United States support President Barack Obama’s proposal to raise investment taxes on high-income families.
You don’t need people’s opinion on a fact.
You might as well have a poll asking, ‘Which number is bigger, 15 or 5?’ Or, ‘Do owls exist?’ Or, ‘Are there hats?’
Fact – despite any and all opinions – 1% of us are under-taxed.
And if the AP isn’t aware of that fact – given its mainstream media composition – no one should ever pick up one of the participating publications again, or listen to one of the participating broadcasters ever again.
