Judge, lawyer tussle in Brevard courtroom
Typically, I insert a quote from the linked article in this space, but it’s hard to select even one sentence from such a propagandized piece. Florida Today‘s reporting is so consistently abysmal that Brevard citizens think they live in a great place, and that judicial wrongdoing, if it happens, is understandable. I know, because I used to live there and believed I lived in a great place because of Florida Today, just like the people who clapped in the video attached to the article after Judge John Murphy got verbally violent with public defender Andrew Weinstock on camera, and likely physically violent off camera. Note how Florida Today abused the closing paragraph’s clout to sway public opinion in favor of Judge Murphy.
Florida Today is a Gannett newspaper, and just as it misinforms Brevard citizens, Gannett’s USA Today misinforms the nation, and Gannett’s Army Times misinforms our troops. Despite all Florida Today portrayals to the contrary, Brevard County may well be the Conviction Corruption Capital of not just Florida, but the entire nation. Brevard’s corrupt public servants are federally protected, forever and ever, amen, because of the FBI’s involvement. It’s really quite the story … but you’ll never read it in Florida Today.
