Why This Latest Exoneree is So [un]Lucky | TM Daily Post

“Miles is lucky that the CCA [Texas Criminal Court of Appeals] —which usually makes it almost impossible to win on an actual innocence claim without DNA—looked at the whole picture and used common sense as well as legal logic to say the obvious: Miles is innocent.”

Richard Miles lost 14 years of his life to Tom D’Amore’s prosecutorial misconduct. That isn’t any sane person’s definition of lucky.

It’s prosecutor Tom D’Amore that is lucky … lucky that the U.S. is so corrupt that it coddles attorneys that break laws to achieve convictions, instead of prosecuting and incarcerating them, depriving them of every last dime to compensate the exonerated as well as the taxpayers they defrauded and recklessly endangered.

The FBI is mandated to investigate public corruption that affects trials outcomes, but they’re apparently so worried about their own corruption that affected trial outcomes they’ve left the likes of D’Amore alone.

So far.

The day is rapidly approaching when the defrauded, endangered public will stand so strongly behind the wrongly convicted that the FBI will have no choice but to Dirty Harry – “44” optional – the punk prosecutors that framed them.
