Texas Tar Sands Tree-Sit Launches to Halt Keystone XL Indefinitely
The tree-sit continues for a third day despite an unprecedented escalation in police and industry violence toward peaceful blockaders. Some of the activists say TransCanada supervisors encouraged deputies with the Wood County Sherriffs Department to use pain compliance tactics that included sustained chokeholds, violent arm-twisting, pepper spray, and multiple uses of Tasers, all while blockaders were in handcuffs.

Common sense indicates that Tar Sands oil – if truly for Canadian and American domestic use – would require only a refinery and delivery trucks, given its conveniently centralized location.
The fossil fuel industry’s war on common sense needs to be recognized for what it is … “Shill, baby shill.”
Your fellow Americans are risking their lives and freedom to get the word out, and the mainstream media isn’t letting you know anything about them … the same media that’s so ridiculously and redundantly portrayed as having a liberal bias.
According to well-documented alternate media sources, fracked natural gas is intended for export, too; unnatural earthquakes and flammable, undrinkable water are coming your way, and you aren’t going to see a cent of savings on your natural gas bills, just as you won’t see a cent of savings at the pump for deforestation devastation necessary to extract Tar Sands oil.
If the mainstream media could hold its corrupt corporate bias in check in the best interests of the nation that built its wealth, it would have already told you all of this.
And it wouldn’t have published or broadcast even one campaign ad that contained outright lies.
Government – obviously – isn’t getting in the way of business. It’s the other way around.
