LabCorp, MedTox … a match made in hell (a/k/a The Beltway)

Usually it’s easy to repost what The Pathology Blawg writes on WordPress.

But not today.

The post I wanted to draw attention to is titled “Third, fourth and fifth law firms announce investigation of MEDTOX Scientific.

You really should read it, and some of my prior posts about LabCorp and Orchid Cellmark.

Those we pay to protect us from corporate predation sell us out continually, and it affects the price you pay for goods and services; it affects the quality of those goods and services; it affects work environments (safety, wages, medical benefits, pensions, unions); it affects the level of prosecution of corporate frauds; it affects the misspending of Medicare, Medicaid and other federal funds … it affects virtually every aspect of every moment of your life, including how very little most people know about corporate predation.

Mega-merged corporate predators – like Disney/ABC and Murdoch’s Fox News and Wall Street Journal – aren’t going to tell you that feds need to break up mega-merged corporate predators.
